Markings
This module gives you the ability to identify any firearm accurately according to ATF rulings, no matter how old, or whether foreign or military. It explains that under the law, there are certain markings required to be placed on a firearm by manufacturers, and importers, and what they are, and what they mean. It also explains how to determine the trademark from the manufacturer or the importer, even when purposely deceiving locations are marked on the gun. Also covered are proof marks, obliterated serial numbers, markings on pre-1968 guns, double serial numbers and double importer marks, marking variances granted by ATF, custom-built guns from miss-matching parts, German WWII codes, and optional marks meant only for marketing purposes.
